About Jim

Bowers FamilyJim Bowers was born and raised in Brandywine Hundred and understands the concerns of local residents. Like us, he is tired of the politicians in Dover who seem to care only about the special interests and not about helping taxpayers, improving our schools or protecting our environment.

That’s why he’s running for State Representative – to change Dover for the better.

A successful business executive, entrepreneur, taxpayer, husband, community volunteer and active member of a statewide group committed to making Dover more open and honest, Jim has the unique background and experience we want in our State Representative.

Jim and his wife, Becky, have four children they are raising in Clair Manor. They attend the Immaculate Heart of Mary School, Hanby Middle School and Archmere Academy. The family attends the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church.

Jim is the Vice President – New Business Development for McCoy Enterprises, an Employee Training and Development Company.
